  • Blank postcard - The forge 'Emu Bottom'. One of he first settlers in the Port Phillip area, George Evans in 1836, built a homestead which remains today as the oldest in Victoria. Throughout the rooms of the house and outbuildings it is possible to see how people lived in those times. At the forge, a plough share is dipped into the tempering tub.
